PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As the United States continues to advance the use of artificial intelligence, V2X connectivity and intelligent infrastructure in traffic management and roadway safety, LEOTEK, a global provider of AI-powered transportation and urban infrastructure solutions, today announced that it has completed the deployment of its Interlux AI Traffic Signal System at Curiosity Lab in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.
The collaboration combines LEOTEK’s nearly three decades of experience in the North American market with Curiosity Lab’s real-world urban environment and technology ecosystem. Interlux is now being evaluated under live traffic conditions, generating insights that will support broader adoption across U.S. cities.
Connecting an Established U.S. Presence with a Smart City Ecosystem
Owned and operated by the City of Peachtree Corners, Curiosity Lab is one of the country’s leading 5G-enabled smart city living labs. Its infrastructure includes a three-mile test corridor for autonomous and connected vehicles, along with C-V2X connectivity, intelligent traffic signals, traffic cameras, sensors and an IoT control room.
The testing environment connects directly to public roads traveled by more than 14,000 vehicles each day, allowing emerging technologies to be deployed, evaluated and refined under real-world urban traffic conditions.

Validating AI-Powered Traffic Signals on Real Roads
Interlux combines radar-camera sensor fusion, the NVIDIA Jetson Orin edge AI platform and C-V2X communications. The system can detect vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and other road users in real time, providing insight into traffic flow and potential conflicts.
These capabilities support intersection safety monitoring, emergency vehicle priority and traffic signal optimization while giving transportation agencies a clearer view of changing roadway conditions.
